Goals:
1. Explore different careers in aviation
2. Earn hours toward a private pilot's license at the Mansfield Airport.
3. Complete home improvement projects.
4. Learn about different aspects of how to complete the projects.
Project Timeline:
1. Visit an Air Force recruiting center to learn about different careers in the Air Force.
2. Met with the CEO of Aeroventure, Mr. Allen, to discuss the basics of the flight program at the Mansfield Airport.
3. Had first flight lesson. Went on VR headset to learn the different controls of the airplane, then went onto plane and flew over Gillette Stadium and my house.
4. Had another flight lesson. Didn’t fly this time...went over flight patterns and what to do if landing without a radio system.
5. Went to Lowes and Home Depot to look at different prices and models of attic steps.
6. Purchased the attic steps at Lowes. Decided with aluminum so it will be stronger and last longer.
7. Removed the existing steps and installed the new ones. Cut the aluminum at the bottom of the steps so it would fit properly.
8. Cut and nailed the trim board to the ceiling surrounding the steps
